Hillsong Church is a worldwide contemporary Church. Hillsong Church was founded by Brian and Bobbie Houston in 1983 in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Now, Hillsong has churches in city centres in 28 countries around the world. The church has an average global attendance of 150,000 weekly.

Challenge

Hillsong Conference is all about championing the cause of THE Church of Jesus Christ — across every nation, denomination, age and background. Promoting the event was a key aspect of success to ensure that maximum capacity and awareness was achieved.

Action

To generate awareness and encourage ticket sales, TMH Media created and executed a solid, strategy backed Facebook marketing campaign. We used Hillsong Church’s promotional video and set up tests with different demographics and formats, including video, carousel and single image ads, to see which audience and format responded the best. Once we had this data, we could then optimise and scale the campaign effectively, knowing which audience and format performed the best.
