TMH offer a full Spanish license which enables TV channels that are broadcasting on SKY to continue broadcasting in UK, ROI and Europe, due to Spain being part of the ECTT. The UK government has issued legislation in preparation for Brexit that allows channels to continue broadcasting on the SKY platform in the UK even if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.
From the date on which the UK withdraws from the EU, licenses issued by EU Member States that are not signatories to the European Convention on Transfrontier Television (“ECTT”) will no longer be recognized in the UK. As Spain IS a signatory to the ECTT, the licenses will continue to be recognized.
